Plan members are highly satisfied with Employee Benefit Services

In the fall of 2018, 3sHealth surveyed Employee Benefit plan members for the first time.

We asked plan members to rate:

  • Their overall satisfaction level with Employee Benefit Services;
  • The courteousness of 3sHealth staff;
  • The knowledge level of 3sHealth staff;
  • Their satisfaction level with processing times; and
  • The helpfulness of our communications.

Plan members were also invited to share any direct feedback they might have.

The results are in, and they paint a positive picture overall.

A total of 84 per cent of all plan members surveyed said they are satisfied or very satisfied with Employee Benefits.

Other highlights include:

  • 94 per cent of respondents said EB reps are courteous.
  • 85 per cent of respondents rated EB reps as knowledgeable and able to provide them with the information they required.
  • 85 per cent of respondents said they were satisfied with the length of time it takes to process requests.
  • 90 per cent of respondents rated the biannual newsletter as a helpful form of communication.

Not only did the survey tell us what we are doing well today, but it also gave us valuable insight into growth opportunities.

“We are currently exploring some of these topics to see where we could improve services in the future,” said Lorne Shiplack, Manager of Employee Benefits. “While the feedback we received from our fall survey is positive overall, we know we can always do better and we are committed to that goal.”
