T4As in the mail for plan members with 2023 disability income earnings

On Feb. 28, 2024, 3sHealth mailed T4As to plan members who received disability income earnings in 2023.

If you received any short-term and/or long-term disability income in 2023, watch your mailbox for this important tax document.

After the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) uploads the information, you can also access your disability income T4A tax slip by signing into your CRA “My Account for Individuals” available here.

Plan members who received disability income in 2023 will use the T4A to file their taxes.

One-time tax deduction

If you received disability benefits in 2023 from the Disability Income Plans that 3sHealth administers, the Canada Revenue Agency allows you to claim a one-time tax deduction for the total amount of contributions you paid before your disability. Please contact 3sHealth Employee Benefits here to receive a statement showing the disability contributions you paid.
